Cupboard Under the Stairs and Bars on the Window

 

The model opens up to reveal several rooms across two floors. On the ground floor sit the living room, the kitchen and the notorious cupboard under the stairs where Harry slept for the first eleven years of his life. A secret door at the back of the house leads to the cupboard. Upstairs is Harry's bedroom with bars across the window that Vernon Dursley had fitted to prevent Harry's escape. Dudley's room crammed with toys provides the contrast.

The attached conservatory extends the house with an additional room. A street sign reading "Privet Drive" and typical front garden details anchor the model in the prim suburban setting that forms such a stark contrast to the magical world in the films.

Aunt Marge Floats Away

 

The five Dursley minifigures plus Harry cover different film moments. Aunt Marge appears twice: as a regular minifigure and as an inflated version floating away. In The Prisoner of Azkaban she insults Harry's parents until Harry involuntarily unleashes magic and Marge inflates like a balloon. Her dog Ripper, who regularly terrorises Harry, is also included. Vernon, Petunia and Dudley complete the unpleasant relatives.
