Metal Color Gloss Varnish from the Metal Color range is a versatile shade used in numerous scale modelling projects. Whether for broad coverage or fine accents, this paint delivers reliable results.

Metal Color is the Vallejo water-based metallic paint range featuring aluminium pigments for exceptional brightness and reflective power. The range offers a wide selection of shades to replicate the metallic finish of aircraft from all eras. Metal Color can be airbrushed directly or thinned with Airbrush Thinner and dries quickly while preserving the finest details.

Although Metal Color dries quickly, Vallejo recommends waiting 12 hours before applying masking tape to avoid damaging the surface.

For maximum shine, apply Metal Color Gloss Varnish over a gloss black primer (e.g. Vallejo Gloss Black Primer). The black base significantly enhances the reflective properties of the aluminium pigments.
