The Mach 8 in Detail

The centrepiece of this set is Luigi's Mach 8 kart, faithfully recreated in its yellow and blue colour scheme with the signature "L" logo on the spoiler. Large rubber tyres with printed star-design rims deliver an authentic look. Measuring 41 cm long, 23 cm wide and 25 cm tall, the model is an impressive display piece built to the same scale as the Mario and Standard Kart set (72037).

Play Features That Impress

The Mach 8 offers more than just great looks. A built-in steering mechanism lets the front wheels turn left and right. At the rear, rotating flame elements on the exhaust spin automatically as you roll the wheels. The buildable Luigi figure can be removed from the kart and freely posed thanks to movable arms, legs and head.

No Stickers, Only Printed Elements

Just like the Mario and Standard Kart, LEGO has used printed elements exclusively instead of stickers throughout this set. This includes the rims, the "L" logo and various other details on the vehicle. The printed dish elements used as rims feature a brand-new colour scheme exclusive to this set.

Tip
Collector's pair: Together with LEGO 72037 Mario and Standard Kart, you get an impressive duo built to the same scale. Both sets look stunning displayed side by side.

Dynamic Display with Buildable Stand

The included buildable display stand lets you present the Mach 8 at a dynamic angle, as if Luigi were mid-race. You can also remove the kart from the stand and roll it around. The display requires approximately 41 cm in length, 23 cm in width and 25 cm in height.
